We envision a Kenya where no child sleeps on the streets, no teenage mother walks alone, and no young person loses hope.
A nation where every vulnerable child walks as a child of light — safe, known, loved, and given the opportunity to flourish.
It is the child who falls asleep on cold pavement, unsure of what tomorrow will bring.
It is the homeless teenage girl facing pregnancy alone, afraid and without support.
It is the boy who has lost hope, who believes he has been forgotten.
They are not statistics.
They are not labels.
They are sons and daughters created in the image of God.
Children of Light exists for them.
We believe no child should be defined by the streets, abandoned by circumstance, or left to navigate fear alone. We are called to step into the darkness with the light of Christ; to rescue, restore, and rebuild lives through safe homes, compassionate care, and unwavering love.
We dream of a Kenya where no child is forced to survive on the streets. Where no child carries the label “street child,” but instead is known by name, surrounded by love, and given the opportunity to flourish.
Children of Light exists to bring children and vulnerable youth out of darkness and into the transforming light of Christ.
Through safe housing, education, mentorship, and faith-centered support, we replace survival with stability and fear with belonging.
